Heavy, Solid BEAST
This thing locked up on my AR with no issue. If my barrel was slightly shorter, it would fit even better. Pinch the clip on the butt of the bayonet and it hooks up directly to an M4 clone. Goes without saying, but if you don't have the bayonet clip on your AR, or you have a floating handguard, it will obviously require modifications. I didn't think the front loop was going to fit over my flash suppressor, but that is actually where the ring would sit better if my barrel wasn't as long (I have a 16"). If you were taking this to an actual battle, you'd definitely need a shorter barrel, or 2-4" more on the blade. Removing the bayonet is just as easy using the clip on the knife. Edge is sharp, and the tanto cut is my personal favorite for any knife. I'm not a steel expert, so you'll have to be the judge if this suits your purpose or not. Bottom line, it looks cool, feels super heavy, comes with a great sheath, and fits a standard M4 clone.

Durable
I have already run this through a gauntlet and it held up like a champ... Mounted on my AR and works as intended. Sharp right out of the box and I even beat it against some rocks and only had a few dings that were easy to buff out.

Large & beefy.
Large beefy intimidating hulk of a knife, designed to attach to you AR pew pew like bayonet but the fit is loose, looks cool but probably not practical in real combat. Makes for a cool display. Also was surprised or maybe not to find printed on the blade (made in china). Other than that its sharp, not sure the type of steel, the grip is rubbery for a good grip. And the price isnt so bad.

I really like this knife and it is built like a tank
This thing is insane no I’m not a registered knife expert. I’ve got pretty large knife collection and this one did not disappoint. It is got some serious heft in the hand. It’s weighty and I’ve got a big met and it fits very well. The weight and thickness of the blade is enough to use it as a hammer if needed, which in combat will probably be the case and it mounted easily to my 223 black you know, it reminds me of the feel of a hatchet, a small hatchet, and the weight and balance let you know all you gotta do is get the momentum started and then just let the weight do the rest. I’m very impressed with this thing and it came razor sharp which surprised me just due to the thickness of the blade but it is like a razor. I’m gonna order another one for my collection because this one’s already getting abused in a good way

Hefty knife, may replace my gerber
This is a heavy bayonet, my GI issued M7 is much lighter. Also, this only loosely fit one of my rifles with bayonet lugs, the hole for the barrel/flashhider is too small. Otherwise, very well made and blade is sharp. Probably will never use it as a bayonet, and will just have to get another M7 or M9. By the way, I originally ordered the returned new in box, someone had put a cheap black knife in it and reapplied the seals (poorly). Amazon returns needs to double check what they get back, I would've been pissed to receive it as a gift especially if I didn't know what I was getting.

Great buy
The kydex retention was tighter than a squirrels cheeks during acorn season. I held it upside down and shook it violently and it won't fall out under its own weight. You can remove the belt strap and use it as a cover while the it stays mounted and there is no play or noise. Its very sharp and it is ready to be attached for a bayonet charge. Its made in china but don't let that fool you. It's got a Chinese price but if this was made in usa it would be a 300 dollar bayonet easily.

Solid Knife, But Sheath Could Be Improved
The SOG BAR15T Tanto Bayonet is a big, heavy-duty knife that feels solid and great in hand. While the bayonet attachment doesn’t fit my AR-15 with the heat guard, it’s not a big deal since I wouldn’t realistically use it that way anyway. As a knife, it’s well-built, sturdy, and definitely designed for serious use.My main issue is with the sheath. It only has a simple velcro strap for attaching to a belt, so it dangles awkwardly. I would have preferred a more rigid or versatile sheath, perhaps one that could be mounted on a boot or worn more securely. Also, when putting the blade back into the sheath, you have to move the two snap-button straps out of the way to lock it in properly, which can be a bit annoying.Overall, it’s a solid knife, and despite the sheath issues, I’m happy with it. Would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a strong, reliable blade.
