Very easy to use
I am a fan of Birchwood Casey products having used the paste for all of my touch up snd total rebluing needs. I had seen several U-Tubers use Oxpho blue, then I watched Brownell’s own instructional video on it. I ordered it from Amazon. I used it on for a 5 inch by 1 inch patch completely lacking blueing. I did prepare the area with 00, then 0000 steel wool. Wiped it off with denatured ethanol. I placed my part on an electric stove on very low for about 3-5 minutes. It needs to be warm not hot. I used makeup pads to apply the blueing. Let set for about a minute, the using the 0000 steeling wool I polished it. I repeated all of this 5 times. The results were better than Birchwood Casey paste. I’m very pleased with it. And it is very easy to use.

Third on was the charm
After watch a YouTube video on the top five gun bluing solutions, I decided to go with this product. I have tried Birchwood Casey E & F Super Blue Liquid Gun Blue and Nu- Blu Gun Metal Bluing and the have a lot of opportunity for improvement. Before I sent my Beretta 686 Silver Pigeon barrel out for bluing, I gave Oxpho Blue Liquid Gun Blue a shot and bang it did the job way better than the others as per the You Tube video. I guess the other two were a waste of money and will going to the round file in the near future. Great Stuff!!!

Easy to use and does FANTASTIC JOB!!!
This was 1st time I'd ever tried to refinish a gun. It was a 1933 Winchester Model 60A and was in very rough shape... I followed the easy instructions and the gun barrel looks brand new!!! Honestly, I wouldn't believe it's the same barrel if I hadn't blued it myself!!

Fantastic!
Simply put this stuff works! Unlike another brand I have been using with mixed results this was easy to use and the results were amazing! If you are looking for a product that will give a deep dark blue finish you need to try this.

Too soon to tell
Arrived 2 hours ago on a Sunday. Haven't had a chance to try it.I've used Brownells products for years- most recently their 44/40 bluing liquid- with very good results. I trust the results using this formula will be at least as good.

Covers Scratches Easily
I used this on a rifle that had several scratches on the barrel. It covered them completely and the barrel looks good as new. Its more black than blue and would work great on a gun with a black finish.
