Dont follow the instructions and they taste great!
These bags of granola offer a good quality snack / breakfast. The portion sizes in each bag are ok, although i would have prefered them to be around 18/20g instead of the 12g as it feels just short of being satisfied after having one.I tried these as directed, add 10ml of water to the bag and consume using the free cardboard spoon provided, which is flat and requires you pinch together at the two dots and found the experience to be very so-so. The pack contains a mix of granola, dried strawberries and powder milk which comes together quite well when the water is added. The taste of the granola was overall quite bland and the spoon gave a very papery aftertaste which was not all the enjoyable.I then tied the mix a 2nd time by adding 1 bag and a half to a bowl and adding 10ml of warm (not boiling) water and eating with a normal, metal, spoon. The taste this time was much better and you could really taste the strawberry. Overall it was a considerabke improvement and one which will make me consider getting these again.Overall if you dont eat them from the pouch, use warm water and add half a portion to each 12g bag you get a very nice breakfast / snack that offers a good source of protien. Otherwise, you have a vety bland and unsatisfying experience

A healthy granola cereal aimed at the fitness and convenience market – tasty but very expensive
This Super Granola – Velocity, Real Goji Berries and Strawberry is a healthy breakfast option aimed at the fitness and convenience market. When I first checked these pouches out they were over two pounds each as part of a twelve pack – they are now a more realistic one pound tenish, but still quite expensive for a bowl of breakfast cereal. You will either find the individual pouch idea with an eco-friendly spoon to be useful or a just a gimmick – I'm still undecided – but the granola and berries taste quite good. At the current price you get 780g of cereal for something over thirteen pounds from Amazon – my usual granola breakfast cereal from Aldi costs considerably less! This Super Granola – Velocity tastes better with milk, but works with water or even just dry; it is obviously good quality but I don't think I can justify the price to keep eating it. Five stars for quality – three stars for value; four star average.

A change from bars and shakes
Whilst I do a shed load of exercise, I struggle to get as much protein as I should, so tend to use protein bars or shakes ... each giving me 10 - 15g of protein.I find these granola packs from Velocity to pretty handy ... I always have water on my, and to have a pack in my gym bag or overnight bag is useful. Adding water is OK, milk is better, and at a push, just eating it straight out of the pack.At just over £2 per pack, the price is similar to what I pay for a bar or shake. I wouldn't use it exclusively, but it makes a change. The taste is OK, perhaps a little sweet for my taste and at 270 calories a serving you will need to factor that in if you are watching your weight.

High protein granola pouches
Super Granola – Velocity (Pack of 12)This is a really tasty granola - a grain-based dish baked with oil and honey, supplemented with seeds and fruit. There's a pleasant sweetness that is in no way sickly - there's no added sugar - and a satisfying chewiness from the baked oats, seeds and dried fruit. The small portion is incredibly filling and contains a full 12g of protein. For the small minority of the population who need to avoid gluten, the product is also gluten-free. Definitely a winner.=== THINGS I LIKE ABOUT THIS PRODUCT ===* Really tasty - there's the sweetness from the honey, richness from the oats and seeds and tartness from the goji berries* Contains recognisable ingredients and no funny business - oats, honey, milk powder, rapeseed oil, pumpkin seeds, goji berries, sunflower seeds, cranberries, strawberries* There's a spoon in each bag so there's no need to carry one around with you* Adding just 10ml of water and stirring makes the granola palatable, and means it's easy to eat on the go without it slopping around and spilling* The small pack - just 65g - is in fact really satisfying and contains a full 12g of protein as well as healthy fats* Long shelf life (this batch has a 'best before' date of over 4 months), so you could just stick these in the drawer at work and dip into them when needed* At the current selling price, this product is comparable to porridge pots - though contains considerably better ingredients and nutrition - and cheaper than other granola pouches on the market=== NIGGLES ===* The packaging is black and dark red with tiny writing on it, making it almost impossible to read* The RRP seems a fantasy price - I don't know whether anyone would be prepared to pay almost £3 per pack* When you tear open the pack using the nick in the side of the pack, you rip through the middle of the pack instructions* Uses a 'best before' date rather than the more helpful 'use by'* The packs arrived with a fine coating of granola dust, as if somewhere along the way a pack had burst* There's a lot of packaging waste, with a plastic pouch and a disposable wooden spoon - I carry a spork in my bag that I use over and over again. It seems a retrograde step to include a spoon in each pack because these will need to be composted but many will just end up chucked in the rubbish bin.* If you're used to the usual sweet breakfast cereals, these may not be sweet enough for you - though you could always add some sugarFor sale at the time of writing this review at £13.19 (RRP £30).

Convenient but pricey alternative to porridge pots
I often go camping and tend to use porridge pots or sachets for breakfast. I can see these being a great alternative, particularly if you don't want to get your stove out in the morning. You just add a small amount of water and mix it in using the spoon provided. The granola is really tasty - not too sweet. Energy figures are comparable to a porridge sachet (at 271 calories these sachets are a bit less) and another benefit is that there is no washing up afterwards. However, at over £2 per sachet they cost far more than porridge sachets or pots. To me, I can see the convenience being worth it when I am in a rush, but I will still choose a bit breakfast most days.
