Just what I needed
Prefect replacement part for an older shower. The product looks just like it is shown in the picture.

Half the normal retail price
This is a great price on this item, half what I found in a hardware store for a Danco replacement. Only problem is it didn't stop my water leak, so I must be barking up the wrong tree. I have found this to be a thorn issue for this particular fixture and am working on a solution. Will repost if I can solve it. Not to take anything away from this item though, because you can't find it any cheaper or easier if this is what you need.

American Standard Marquette Cartridge Fixed - TYPE P ASSE 1016 A112.18.1
I was worried that this piece would be the wrong size because it did not include a pic of the brass extender for the American Standard Marquette handle. It fit perfectly and I was able to take the brass piece off of the broken part and screw into the gear shaped piece at the tip. The side of the part I took off didn't have the above part number, instead it reads: "TYPE P ASSE 1016 A112.18.1" This is the same part number on the replacement part packaging along side the "A95440-0070A" in the title of the listing. All is well again and my faucet is closing properly and as expected. Would be 10 out of 10 if an option. Hope this helps someone out there who likes to also do some of this work themselves.
