This is an excellent tool for groomers. I have been using this set for a year now and have never sharpened these scissors. Yes, they have become a little dull, but they are still perfectly suitable for cutting hair. They have been cutting hair perfectly all this time and continue to do so. Once, I dropped one of the scissors from the set, but nothing happened to it. I think this set is worth considering. For the price, it's excellent quality.But the comb in the set is completely useless. The photo and video show the scissors after a year of active use.

What can I say about these that's negative other than don't let them even lightly touch you or they will slice you? These are absolutely wonderful scissors and after a year of usage I am still very proud to own them and I am still in love. I was utterly surprised at the sharpness and the over all quality of this entire set. I only breed Yorkshire Terriers so the dogs I groom have generally long and fine fur. I groom some dogs nearly every single day and they are still in use and doing a great job!!! While I bought my set on sale I feel confident that paying full price would be a bargain. I am including photos of a few puppies that I just today groomed. Puppy grooming is always the hardest and you need quality equipment to work with in order to become successful. Look at the photo with the long ears and you will see how close I cut the hairs on this 3 pound dynamo. If you look at the other puppies eyes, nose and legs you will start to see the entire puppy has been cautiously groomed. I like to keep them looking like a puppy but clean them up very carefully. I have no issue with this 7 inch set and actually prefer the length,

For the sale price, these are great. They feel professional, but I will say that a couple of the spairs (ones with the teeth) get stuck and won't close easily, which is why I knocked one star off. I don't use those much, but if I can make them work, I like how they leave my Bernedoodle's fur evenly cut after a touch-up. My favorite out of the set is the curved pair. I use that for around her face, ears, and tail, and to fluff up her leg hair. I use the comb occasionally. I love that they come in a portable (fancy-looking) case. Overall, they're great if you're looking for good, professional-like quality without the high price tag.

The price was ok for the product though I did expect more from it. The blade of the shears with the comb gets caught on the comb and I am unable to use them. So I would saw the quality is not thay good. They were extremely sharp at first but dull quickly. I would say is good for at home infrequent grooming but not suitable for every day multi dog use

The first pair of these I ordered were defective and I am very happy that I gave them another chance. These work great on my doodle and are easy to use on his thick fur! I would caution that the scissor blade is extremely sharp and will cut your skin if you barely touch it. They are great quality and come in a nice wooden box for storage. Worth the price!

So far I’m pleased with this set. I can’t speak to how long the sheers will stay sharp. So far I’m very happy with them. I’m not a professional groomer, but have groomed my own poodles for years. These are very sharp, have a cute bit of bling, and a nice case. Nice comb too. I’d purchase again or recommend to others for home pet grooming. If taken care of, I expect they’ll hold their sharpness.

You need to be a professional to be able to use this scissor and I am not. I will stay with a straight scissor to groom my Portuguese water dog.

I use it to trim my two Westies and it works great. Very sharp, looks good and fits comfortably in the hand. Also the case is very nice. I would like to buy the same brand, Curved Thinning Shears and Curved Chunker. Also the package arrived on time as promised. Thank you!
