Smells like cheap carrier oil. Not real deal

Good oil. I love the fact that this oil is 100% pure and natural. It is extracted from the leaves of the Bhringraj plant, which is known for its hair nourishing properties. This gives me peace of mind knowing that I am not putting any harsh chemicals on my skin/ scalp. I incorporate a couple of drops of bhringraj with a carrier oil and make a hair mask. It helps to soothe my itchy and irritated scalp. I often suffer from dandruff and this oil has helped in reducing the flakiness and itchiness of my scalp. It has a cooling effect which feels very refreshing and calming. It also makes my hair feel softer, stronger and looks shinier. This oil has a pleasant herbal scent which is not overpowering. It is lightweight and does not leave my hair feeling greasy. Washes off perfectly, leaves no residue on hair. Comes in a dark amber euro dropper bottle.

I have never smelled Bhringraj Oil before so I was curious. This Bhringraj Premium Grade 100% Undiluted Essential Oil has an intense earthy and woody smell with a nutty undertone…honestly it smells a bit like walking into a Chinese herbal medicine shop. I don’t mind it but also not my favorite…regardless it seems to sooth my dry flaky scalp. If the result continues, I can definitely ignore the smell.
