Schwalbe Land Cruiser 700 x 40c Hybrid Bike Tyres (Pair)

The tyres are of good quality, and really good delivery service.

...and hard wearing. Easy to fit. They ride well but didn't quite offer the level of puncture protection I required. I found they flexed just a little too much and I got too many pinch punctures in my back wheel. If I increased the pressure to counteract that it made the ride far too hard. I decided to try the next level up, Schwalbe Marathons which to date, have not allowed a single puncture in 500 miles of riding which is unheard of for me. Slightly harder ride than Land Cruisers though. The Land Cruiser will suit all but the heaviest of riders and can be bought for less than £25 a pair which is a cracking price.

Used before and happy with product. Good value for money but tend to wear out quicker than more expensive tyres. Hybrid tyres which is ideal.

So glad I took a punt on these Schwalbe tyres. While my Pendleton Somerby-e bike is meant to be fine on smooth city roads, I was finding it uncomfortable on the pothole hell that is my local cycle path network on my SHORT (4 mile) commute to work. I was considering selling it and buying a step-through hybrid e-bike with suspension instead but thought, at under £25, these Schwalbe tyres could be worth a shot and might save me £hundreds. These knobbly tyres are a couple of mm wider but fit a treat - and wow, the change is unbelievable! I genuinely 100% recommend! Just cycled 45 miles around flat bits of the Peak District with NO issues whatsoever. My teeth, shoulders, spine and wallet thank you Schwalbe! 😀

They are a little narrower than what I have on my bike, which I knew I was purchasing since couldn't find anything else, so took a chance to see if any good. I have to say they fit like a dream and are good quality. For the price an excellent buy.

These are great winter tyres

These tires are chunkier than they look. For road use you're better off going for something smoother I think.
