Amazing contraption
I used this for my 22 month old (25-30lb). And it made walking through the airport and airplane a breeze. It stayed in place. I didn't have to do any adjusting once she was seated. It was very sturdy. I even used it on trains as well. So the use was for long periods of time and the seams weren't compromised. IOnly thing is the chest strap cover came off so keep an eye out for that. It can easily get lost.

what a cool item for when you need it! niche use though
This seat is so cool. It is such a specific need, but having it makes a difference. I tried it out on a chair when it first arrived, and I am pleased with the strap safety for a large-ish toddler. However, if you have a smaller size child, the side portion will seem like it is too low (and it will be). If you don't have a walker, I think this will not be helpful (babe will be too small for me to consider it safe). But, if you have a larger child who is a slow walker, this is useful for striding along. Be aware of how it sits on your bag too, and make sure you adjust it properly. All in all, it's ok.

Didn't feel secure enough to use
I wish this travel seat worked out because it would have made traveling with a 1 year old so much easier. My main issue with it is safety. The seat doesn't seem sturdy enough. When in the seat, the bottom sags/bends. My baby is ~20lbs so he's well under the weight limit. The strap were an issue too. During our short trial run we had at home, I noticed the straps began to dig into my son's neck leaving red marks. If you also look at the side of the strap, there's a large gap where he could easily slide to one side as the bucket only secures him from the shoulder down which was another safety concern I had.As for as the installation/setup, there were no instructions that came with the packaging so I just referred to the pictures on the product page. I used our Away Large suitcase with the following measurements 29" x 20.5" x 12.5", and the straps were easy to loop in and tighten but the counterbalance when putting our son in was tricky. The suitcase would topple over and I had to have dad help hold our son during installation. All-in-all it seemed to be more harm than good, so I don't think we'll be using this.
