Great Feel Out of the Box
As. Firefighter and someone who spend many hours on my feet as an instructor, I constantly looking for boots that will protect my feet while also providing outstanding comfort. Not easy to find in one boot together. Right out of the box, these boots felt fantastic. The fit was true to size and the wide toe box has plenty of the room for my foot and the safety toe. Most other boots advertise wide toe box but that gets used up by the safety toe. Not with these boots. Rand knew these boots have a broken in feel which will only get better when actually broken in. The sole is solid but flexes perfectly with each step and even adds some height. At 5’7” I appreciate any help I can get! I look forward to see how these hold up at the Fire Training Center, but they definitely feel ready to work! Follow up will come after break in period!

Huge downgrade from their Milwaukee boot
Keen discontinued their Milwaukee boot and this is what they told me they replaced it with. This boot isn’t half the boot the Milwaukee was. Cheaper materials, not near as comfortable, and wears out much more quickly. Very disappointing considering I’ve been wearing the Milwaukee for over 15 years and I can’t even stand this boot. I guess it’s time to find a new brand altogether.

It got better
Completely honest review. I hated them at first. Heavy, uncomfortable, bad soles. But they got better. I adjusted to the weight. They aren’t that much heavier than another good pair. So it’s workable. They get much more comfortable as they break in. Had to swap laces and skip an eye due to the crease digging into my foot. But i adjusted and it worked. The soles, well that hasn't changed. They aren't bad but i work in a yard full of gravel. These pick up rocks all day long. As the wore down its got better but still an issue. I was going to throw them away and cut my loses at first but I waited and they did get better. I only hope they fix these issues in the next addition.

Decent boots for about a year.
Comfortable and good non slip qualities. Could be better on the overall durability. They will split at the seam between the synthetic heel (black part) and the leather over time. I know that to be the case as my first pair both boots came apart at the same spot.

These are neck and neck with timberland pros of similar style. They’re both about the same in appearance. While they’re wide, that’s the reasoning for their comfort. What I like about keen boots is there is no break in period. I found a pair of these locally but they were too big. So I came to Amazon and ordered them in a smaller size. I went with the size Amazon recommended and they are perfect. As far as cost, I think with the price on Amazon, they’re very affordable considering what you get. They were $100 cheaper to purchase on Amazon.

Best boots for shin splints, and foot pain
Shout out to keen for letting me return 2 different styles of boots to fine my perfect fit, (the fit is one slightly smaller then most for i wear a 13ee and was a hair to small, ordered 14ee and fit absolutely perfect) absolutely recommend these for mechanics on there feet all day will not regret
