Hella H6W Bulb H6W 12V 6W
The small lamp in the headlight housing of my 2004 Porsche Boxster S went out, so I bought this replacement bulb. Installing it was a bit tricky because you need a special tool that came with the car to "eject" the headlight housing from the body to access the bulb. It took me about 30 minutes, as I took my time. After the replacement, everything works perfectly. I highly recommend this, but make sure you get the right model of bulb for your car.

A quick 'home workshop' bulb change-out for my USA 2000 MBZ E430
Our MBZ E430 warning text on the dash just said BULB OUT, or something to that order. At first I missed the actual location on the vehicle that had the bad bulb. And I'll guess it was because I forgot to test the 'Parking Lights', which it turned out was where, (driver's side front), I finally found the bad bulb. The original equipment Philips bayonet bulb was the culprit. On the Mercedes, access to the parking lamps up front is via a large turn & click cover behind the parking light lens assembly in the interior area under the hood, up front. I took care not to get my fingers on the bulb area, just being cautious regarding human oils, or any oil, getting on the glass and causing a break-issue when the lamp gets hot. So I wore my latex shop gloves. The 'remove and replace' only took a minute or so. The under $10 cost of the bulb was inconsequential given that it was an OEM equivalent-replacement, and I received it this week end (in two days from order) via my Amazon Prime account. I value my travel time and given it wasn't a drive-critical part, figured waiting 2-days was not really an issue. Overall a very good value.
