Was kind of let down. (Seller changed Item listing)
I like the set but the card holder was so badly made that it just ripped up when trying to open it and after it was open good luck getting it closed. Also the picks and rakes and turning tools are way to thick to be able to give you the room you need to try to pick a normal lock be it a padlock or a doors deadbolt. the turners are way to wide when you put them in the keyways because non of them can be used for top the keyway uses. so yeah you have to get the tool in to the lock before you can get a turning tool into the lock. Will for the LOL learner locks is fine because they did not use any kind of pins other then flute pins and the drivers and the keyway pins are all the same size so yeah anyone can rake up one there locks without even watching a video or reading up on lockpicking. That and they don't have any kind of warding at all that the keyways are way to long from top to bottom of the lock and it got a huge keyway gap. I would say don't waste your time or money and just goto Covert Instruments and get there pick sets there. The Genesis Lock Pick Set may look like it short next to this one but unlike this set that you would have to do a lot of sanding or grinding to get them down to where most the picks or rakes are useable in anything other then there very poor locks they send to you to pick. also on those locks they are not able to be repined so that you could try your hand in a easier lock body before trying it on the real deal. But Covert Instruments also have real locks that you can learn on and they are able to be repined. And before I get out here the Genesis Lock Pick Set is only 28.00 bucks plus shipping.---------------------------UPDATE 11-15-23--------------------------------------------------------------------------You should stay away from this seller as I was did this review for a lock pick set not a set of padlocks.Amazon really needs to put a stop to this kind of gaming the system. leaving reviews in place but changing there listing and hoping that they can use the reviews to help sell the new item(s).
