I purchased several different ones of this comb. My hair has a hard time when I do a French twist with a comb staying in it all day. This had no problem it was snug in my hair was beautiful and the French twist with a comb in it. I recommend this comb to everyone that wants to put their hair up and keep it up all day.

I would have given this zero stars if it would allow for a review to be made. The quality and size of the item is less than adequate. The edges of the comb are rough from the cheap plastic molding. The roughness will not allow the comb to be inserted through hairExtremely dissatisfied with the quality of this item and would not purchase from this seller again.

The Camila Paris CP2873 French Hair Side Comb is a stylish and well-made accessory. I appreciate that it’s made in France and has a smooth, polished finish that doesn’t snag or pull on the hair. It’s compact and lightweight, making it easy to carry or toss in a travel bag.That said, while it does offer a strong hold for finer or medium hair, it didn’t work quite as well for my thicker hair. It tends to slide out if I try to use it for a full chignon or bun unless I pair it with other pins or elastics. For simple side styles or half-up looks, though, it holds up nicely and looks elegant.It’s a lovely piece overall, especially if you have the right hair type. But if you have thick or textured hair, you may need something with a bit more grip or strength.

It holds my medium thickness hair well however it’s way smaller than I expected

Suggestion, if you slide it in, it may slip out.So, place the tongs on the scalp tilting the opposite direction and slide it 1/4inch, then (without removing the comb) tilt it the forward direction, sliding it forward on the scalp. That way it grasps the hair and it stays in place.

I wanted a deep comb to keep my hair up during the summer and this one is perfect!
