I took a gamble when I bought this because the notes above I would have adored too but the bottle and a couple of other reviews on the internet made me suspect it wasn't going to gives Christmas sweet spices vibes. Vanilla and cinnamon are my favorite notes together. Yet, I'm smelling pear, rose, musk and vanilla. Maybe you'll smell the notes for Glossy and it won't be Idole twist for you. I'm going above and beyond in this review because I don't want you to spend your money, even this amount, and regret it.Original Review- This is the second rose fragrance I have ever enjoyed. Rose can go wrong in a lot of ways but this is so likeable for me. Good longevity and good scent bubble. Super enjoyable perfume that is sweet, musky, slightly fruity, fresh, rose vanilla with a dash of luxe detergent. Thought I'd mention this before going deeper into this review.Smells like a sweeter Idole. First spray and the pear was bursting juicy. It's a crazy sweet opening. After five minutes it calmed down and I could smell a rose vanilla musk. The musk could be a bit much for some Sometimes it comes across like luxury detergent but it's super pleasant.On my skin the pear disappears quickly but on clothes the pears stays with the rose. Gently sweet with a pinch of that pear tartness. It's more musky on my skin and more fresh on clothes. Glossy is a pretty and feminine scent. If you don't like it someone you know will.I just want to add I didn't like the You're the One body mist from the well known body product retailer. I thought the rose in it was super dry and overpowering in an unpleasant way. One spray almost gave me a headache and I'm not sensitive to strong scents like that. I mention that because that mist is a supposed dupe for Idole but Glossy is a dupe of Idole. Maybe it's the sweeter twist with Glossy but it smells delightful to my nose. The pear keeps the rose from being too dry.This perfume is a heavy hitter to my nose. Sticks to clothes easily. Every time I move I can smell this perfume from my clothes and it's been eleven hours. Great price and great quality. Easy reach perfume on days you don't want to smell something complex. At the price it is (basically $18) it blind bought itself for me, lol.I hope all this information helps because the fragrance notes I've seen for this perfume didn't match what my nose picked up. Maybe you'll smell something different but I like to think it helps knowing what others pick up too.Update: This is a dupe not a clone. A dupe is going to get you close to what it's duping. Dupes aren't always a perfect match. A clone is an exact copy which Glossy is not. It's Idole with a twist. Now, it could be one of Idole's flankers, I don't know. I smell the notes that make up Idole and if you look at the notes listed in the description here on Amazon they are the notes for Victor and Rolf's Flowerbomb. Other sites will say the notes are vanilla and spicy, which they aren't. If it helps don't buy this as a one for one clone of Idole but if you like the description I gave then go ahead and buy it because it really does smell lovely and the price is great.

This is so bad .Smells like cat piss, I hate to be mislead this bad base on others reviews (cat piss bomb) big regret. Oud is in this and is not in the description but it is. Oud on steroids !!!!

UPDATE 9/30/24: I let this macerate and came back to it recently. It lasts longer, the notes have all smoothed out and its a gorgeous fragrance. I got immediate and resounding compliments on it when I wore it yesterday. Excellent when layered with some other fragrances. Glossy has earned all 5 stars and more!!===========================Its a beautiful bottle. Its heavy and feels good to hold. The lid is nice too!The scent is gorgeous, but fleeting.I took away a star bc it lasts for 15 minutes before its gone.Im going to put it in my 'fume Tomb and let it macerate for several months to see if that improves it.At this point, with the longevity in the dumps, this perfume is NOT worth the price, even though it smells DELICIOUS for its 15 minutes of life before its just gone with the wind.Hopefully, maceration time will improve it. If not, maybe it just needs to only be sprayed on clothing or car seats to make it last a little longer.What a shame though - it smells SO GOOD, and I wish it lasted longer.

I purchased this fragrance based off reviews on this perfume from elsewhere when looking for a dupe for Lacome Idol. I do not think this is a match for match dupe for Idol but on its own, it's a pretty good fragrance to add to your collection. It's pretty strong and the longevity is a couple of hours (4-6 hours), you won't be disappointed in getting this but just know it's not a dupe for Idol.

I kept seeing this go down in price but I was hesitant because the only reviews of it are here on Amazon and the notes weren’t listed clearly, I also saw someone’s review saying the notes were giving Christmas but the bottle and scent are not. I’ve had this for about a month and a half now and I can tell you it’s spicy, floral and just a touch sweet. When I first sprayed it I was instantly reminded of a less caramel version of oud mood by lataffa mostly because of the spices. After spraying it out a bit and left it settle in my dark closet it’s so much more floral and the vanilla note is much more apparent. It’s still spicy which I love but it’s not the prominent note like it was on first spray. Everything has mellowed out and blended together and it’s sooo lovely! It also has strong silage and projection, I had to adjust how many sprays I put on because I did 3 and 30 min later in the car I was choking my husband out that he had to roll down the window. It’s a strong perfume so I would suggest either spraying the night before or 2 sprays you walk through (not directly sprayed on) 1-2 hrs before leaving the house. There aren't many reviews of this fragrance. I've been curious about it for a long time. This is actually a really beautiful fragrance. It opens with a juicy pear and vanilla and drys down to a beautiful vanilla/amber and this is without maceration.

This perfume is a dupe! It smells terrible and nothing like the real. It smells so cheap. Not what I wanted
