Stanley 0-22-441 8-inch/ 200mm Hand File Bastard Cut

Bought to sharpen mower blades. Was not disappointed and worked well. The large size and quality of the product is value for money and I’m sure it will last a long time.

The file is excellent and does the job. The people who moan, about the dificulty of removing the plastic covering from it. should be aware that a stanley knife run along the safe edge of the file removes it in 3 seconds flat,, though I doubt if engineering will be their forte if they cannot work that out themselves!

This is now my go to file, excellent cutting and great handle

Comes in handy for a lot of DIY tools. I used it on ✂ and other bits and bobs. It's good to have one so it's handy when you need it.It sharpens really well and basically that's about it. Also Stanley is a good and trusted brand so quality can be assured. Value for money and durable, it's a good buy👍🏽

Works well for quick and rough filing. Bought this for sharpening mountaineering crampons, and it's night and day compared to my smaller, finer files. Doesn't leave a neat finish, but that's not what you're after with a bastard file.
