Although I'm still pulling the room together, I was looking for something unusual to show off my living room. Behzinga! These pieces hit the right note!

I have to say, I am not impressed with these sculptures. At a quick glance, they're kind of pretty. However, when you look more closely and handle them you'll see that they're a bit tacky and not meticulously made.When I picked them up the first time I was surprised at how lightweight they are. The description says that they're ceramic, but, to me, they feel way too light to be ceramic. They feel more like they're made of thin metal.These are definitely prettier in the listing than they are in person. In person, they look quite gawdy to me. The gold paint looks cheap, like getting 18k gold when you're expecting 14k gold. Also, these are not painted with care. In my pics, you can see a closeup of both sides of one of the swirls. On one side, the gold paint follows the shape of the swirl. On the other, the gold paint is carelessly applied. It's this way on many parts of the sculptures.I do like the soft pads that are adhered to the bottom of the sculptures. It's good for protecting whatever surface you place these on. Unfortunately, that's about all I like about these. There's no way I would display these in my home. They're definitely not worth the listed price. For that amount, I'd expect these to be heavy and finished perfectly. They are not. I do not recommend these.
