Take this as a disclaimer: as a practical man I cannot go into the details on muscular or even systemic health benefits of dead sea salts (IF ANY) as I don't have that kind of training. besides, even physicians expressing opinions cannot agree on exactly what these benefits are (if any) as it is rather doubtful that the minerals in these types of salts will permeate through the skin - at least in the kind of quantity necessary for therapeutic purposes - and even if so, exactly, mechanically how as there is virtually no peer-reviewed research on the health benefits of bath salts. feel free to google the issue if the subject is of interest to you.However I suffer from dry skin patches, so what i can tell you earnestly is this: i've been using these salts for a few months after reading of their application *strictly for skin problems*, and even from the very first immersion my skin and hair changed. i need to use less moisturizing cream as dry patches are smaller, and immediately after a prolonged immersion the affected areas felt softer and more supple than from several days with various creams.Even my hair is now softer and has a luxurious feel that I thought it lost some 15 years ago.My skin problems are mild, so if you suffer from psoriasis or other acute skin problems your mileage is likely to vary and I have no experience with them. However, for *mild skin and scalp* problems, or even just in addition to your regular "body maintenance", cosmetic, or relaxation regimen (especially with the addition of a few drops of your favorite essential oils/perfumes) they are highly likely to please, and for that purpose i find them excellent.There's nothing that says that pleasure and body maintenance can't go together, so my advice for use is this: get hold of some heady essential oils (or relaxing, reviving, etc) my favorites are ylang-ylang, sweet fennel which smells like licorice, and cinnamon *bark* (NOT "cinnamon leaf" or just "cinnamon" as those will smell very little of cinnamon) pick up your appropriate dose of salts (I use a full tea cup) and add 8-10 drops TO THE SALTS, not the water (if you drop the oil directly in the water, most of it will stick either to the tub or to a single area of your body), stir or shake them a bit so the oil gets scattered, then add them to the bath water and stir. "Steep" or "Brew" :) yourself into this for as long as you feel comfortable doing so, but generally no less than 15 minutes; your favorite drink and some music do wonders with the combination.Alternate essential oil with each bath if possible or you'll soon stop smelling them.

Very helpful in ichy n painful feet n improve sleep quality too , removed dead skin n gives a fresh feel , luckily was available at a deal price .

Regularly use, will purchase again

My son has sadly developed eczema and ever since I have been using this 3 times a week his eczema is like gone. Of course this isnt a miracle product but deep sea salt definitely helps it so so much. Plus it keeps his skin amazing and hydrating. If you have eczema I would strongly recommend you to give it a go.
