Like many, the cost of energy has forced us to rethink how we stay warm in winter. We bought one of these a year ago, and I have this wrapped around me in my study as I WFH two days a week. I used to use an electric radiator - not a chance now.It is warm enough without the blanket on, and it's soft and fluffy if that's your thing. In terms of heat output, it ranges from Low, through to High, and seven increments in between. It takes about 10 minutes to heat up, and once it does, it does a great job at keeping me warm. It can drop below 15C in my study on the coldest days; this blanket makes all the difference.So, seeing as I took full ownership, I got another for the kids, and wife this winter. These blankets are large, so spread out on the sofa, they can watch TV.Needless to say, it's saved us a lot of money over the year alone, the heating can be set lower for less time, and these blankets cost pennies an hour to heat. They have an inbuilt timer and will automatically switch (if you fall asleep!).In short, they are durable, machine washable (not that we have tried), and are supplied with a long cable (about 2 metres). Recommended.

I previously bought 2 of the double sherpa fleece for my family and we love them. Huge, cosy and toasty warm within 30mins.For my personal use in my bedroom and 3rd purchase I got the fur in grey and it is the thickest and heaviest of them all! It stays warm long after it's switched off and feels divine, I love to stroke it!Having bought 3 of these in the past 3 months my advice for success is as follows:- Buy the extra insurance offered by Amazon so you have 2/3 yrs of peace of mind should it malfunction- Read the instructions booklet fully before using. For all the Blankets the first 2- 3 times they hardly got hot especially the 1st time. I would lay them flat and put them on for 1hr and switch it off. By the 3rd /4th time I would use it and it would work fine. I call this breaking in period "seasoning" the blanket- Everytime I use it I lay it flat first when warming it up- Treat it with care. Don't leave it crumpled up especially when it's still warm. Yes it's a blanket but it's still an electronic deviceEnjoy!

Took a while to decide on which blanket to buy as there are so many, but this was definitely the right choice!! It gets so lovely and warm and is so soft. Definitely recommend.

Bought this for my Husband as he is always cold. Keeps him lovely and warm it is nice and cosy and has a good weight. The only reason I have given it 4 stars is the connection which is on the throw is hard to push together. The throw is larger than I expected a good size.

Well credit where credits due Amazon, these blankets from Cosi home are unreal. They look lovely and they feel even better... This blanket warms up really fast and stays warm, it has adjustable temperature to suit and a timer that lasts up to 9 hours. Most importantly of all however my gas usage has gone right down I suffer from very poor circulation and always feel cold but not when I have my Cosi home blanket. I could not recommend these money saving items anymore there worth full price of anyone's money but even better to slash the cost to less than £40... I've had mine about a week and it's already paid for its self as I've barely used my heating... Good investment for all!!!

I read every review for every heated throw going and this one seemed to come out on top. A lot of them appear to stop working after a few months. I'm happy to say this one is excellent! Very soft, heats nicely (feels subtle at first but it does get going) and feels well made. Would buy again and that's all you really need to know!Bonus tip: the first time I used mine it took forever to get warm. After that it was fine! Bought this as a Christmas present as my daughters room is cold even with the heating on. She wraps herself up in it as she does her college work it's soft, durable, beautifully soft and heats up lovely. It's been the best buy ever. Comes in all different colours too. Good price and just as good as the ones for over £100 from the local chemist. You won't be Dissatisfied

I'm comparing this to a Dreamland throw (which is also more costly as the cosi was bought on offer). The cheapest Dreamland is150w, it does get hotter quicker at max setting and feels thicker (it isn't) because of the nature of the fleece, the cosi is 120w has a lower temperature at max setting (45-50°C) and feels thinner (it isn't) because of the fleece 'hairs' being a slightly 'looser knit'. It does heat up relatively quickly, and will warm you up on a cold day but not almost instantly like the dreamland. It's also slightly cheaper to use. You can feel the wires in both.The cosi heating wires cover more area, as well as the throw being slightly bigger which is in our opinion better.The controls are simple to use and has the advantage of having 10 settings each for time and temperature.Both throws are good, both will warm you up, if you're on a budget then the cosi is certainly one to seriously consider buying.This review is after giving the cosi a quick test immediately after receiving it and why it's four stars because not knowing how it will perform over time.

Fijne lekker warme deken om samen onder te kruipen.Elektra kosten zijn zeer laag en maar een fractie dan dat ik de cv moet aanzetten.Echte aanrader.

The blanket doesn’t seem to heat up completely. My left side was warmed up and my right side was disappointed. And even when I’ve put the setting on max the heat wasn’t all that. Cats didn’t even care for it, and you know the felines like a warm cozy spot.
