These socks were a perfect addition to my recent trip to -8 degree weather. I layered them with another pair of socks I already owned that were merino wool, and my feet stayed cozy. I've been wearing them when I lounge around the house now also. They do run on the larger size but still comfortable and fit well in my boots.
