Not proper introduction to the topic, not enough details
The book doesn't have a proper introduction likeeg. how many oceans are there, where are they situated, what are their names etc. (instead it has just a map/picuture showing these)Generally the book is not structured well into chapters.e.g some sea animals are randomly selected and explained, but that even not in detail.e.g. penguins are get just a half pagee.g. sharks are just mentioned at the side, not even a proper page or chaptersome animals are even left out e.g. polar bearsThere is still lot of information, but it's lots of bits from here and there. I really expected from Usborne more.My 7 year old still likes the book, and loves browsing in it.

BRILLIANT STARTUP EDUCATION
This is one of a few 'education' encyclopedias I got for my 6 year old granddaughter to help explain her questions. The layout is superb and the presentation perfectly laid out, all in relevant areas. She loves it and it really does help - both of us.

Really nice informative book for my 8 year old son which I bought him before we visited The Deep in Hull. He reads it in bed at night and then tells me all the amazing facts he has learnt!
