Not a 5 star game, but definitely one to add to your collection
It is a great game, with action packed gameplay and about average graphics. This is 720p, so it will only look good if you have a TV capable of upscaling. I tried it on my monitor and the result was dissappointing, it had incredibly blurry textures and was not clear at all. I would only recommend playing this on TV. When using the TV the graphics were much better, lighting was accurate and the scenery was really enjoyable to look at.I haven't really played through much but the story is good, and (IMO) not too predictable. The driving in this game, as others have said, is fun and works well. There are some good puzzles, mainly just looking around for things, but it gives variety throughout. The cutscenes are a little cheezy, but are good nonetheless.Online is a little... empty. The maps are too big and it takes forever to find anyone. Do not buy it for online. The controls are responsive, and the third person works great for this shooter.Brilliant game, I'd recommend it.

Review fo 007: Bloodstone
Great graphics, gameplay, storyline, concept and overall; great game. Although, some might say it was a bit too short. All in all, decent game.

Great Game if you're ok with repetition
Liked:1.The Close-ups of camera & Slow Motion effects when performing Takedowns2. Variety in gameplay, a 3rd person shooter with cover system & driving sections wether pursuing a target or escaping from enemy.NOTICE:The game is repetitive so if you are not ok with it then this game is not for you.

The name's Bland, James Bland.
Well, I guess with the possibility of no more actual Bond movies ahead of us, there are worse ways to get your 007 fix than this somewhat mediocre original title from Activision, making the monumentally stupid move of releasing the game in the same week as their biggest release of the year, Call of Duty Black Ops.Playing as Daniel Craig flavoured Bond, Bloodstone has pretty much the same plot as practically every Bond story ever as Jimmy travels the globe as he does battle with a rogue military commander type bent on destruction/world conquest or something. It's not like any of us are here for the intricacies of the plot to James Bond videogame. We want to shoot stuff, and shoot stuff you shall... perhaps a bit too much in fact...Clearly taking it's cues from both the previous Quantum of Solace game in some respects, and last generation's third person Bond games(Everything or Nothing, From Russia with Love) in most others, Bloodstone is achingly generic in pretty much everything it does. The levels are linear, unchallenging affairs, adopting a basic third person shooter play system that's not exactly as polished as titles like Gears of War or Uncharted, but does what it needs to I guess. The cover system was quite iffy and a tad unresponsive in places I found, and the "target marking" feature lifted straight from Splinter Cell Conviction really did make an already light on challenge game ridiculously easy to play through. The third person sections that make up the majority of the game are dull, but functional if you want it simply put.The driving sections aren't really too great either. The vehicles are all simply too stiff and unresponsive to handle, with the handbrake feeling all but useless, which is a real issue given how sharp a lot of the turns in these sections can be. They're fast and pretty, yes, and would make for otherwise decent breaks from the mediocre bulk of the game, but they're just so annoying to play that they're no better than the dullness of the shooter bits.I only tried the multiplayer mode very briefly and it was just... pointless to be honest. I know the multiplayer in Quantum of Solace was surprisingly okay for what it was back when it came out, but don't expect a similar surprise here. The game is visually pretty decent, with some occasional bad patches on character models and textures not taking too much away. It runs pretty smoothly as well, so technically there's little to complain about. The sound is quite nice also. Familiar, if typical, Bond music plays throughout and there's some good voice work from Daniel Craig and Judi Dench adding some much needed authenticity(I hesitate to say 'credibility') to the proceedings. That opening theme song wasn't too hot though...It's a good looking game that just doesn't play so good. There's definitely fun to be had to a degree here, which is why I'd certainly recommend this as a rental for sure, but not as anything more. It's simply too light on worthwhile content and is far too easy to warrant full retail prices. If you really need a new Bond game, you might want to consider the recent Goldeneye remake on the Wii(if you can play it), which is actually quite decent.
