Sweet Protection Falconer Aero 2Vi MIPS Helmet

First, this helmet checks all the boxes for a top of the line helmet plus some great added features.The shape is ideal for more long and skinny heads since it is overall an oval shape. Higher volume domes will likely have some issues as well since at max extension the retention system does not come super far down.That said, if like me you have a more skinny and not massive top of head volume this is a great fit and very comfortable. The retention system is snug and the padding with integrated MIPs works well.Ventilation is excellent when the aero covers are removed and you can really feel air moving over your head. How the pads handle sweat may be the only potential issue I see (compared to a Specialized Prevail for instance) but I haven't put it through the paces yet given the cool temps in Chicago.Fidlock is a nice added feature (although not one I really care much for since I take my helmet off once or twice a ride at most) but the aero covers are a genius idea and I'm looking forward to those in the winter and cooler seasons.Weight is probably middle of the road. It could pontentially be lighter but it isn't noticeable on your head either. It is one of the safest helmets in testing though so that's probably a balancing act.Overall this is an outstanding and stylishly unique helmet. Highly recommended for all my skinny headed friends.

I bought this helmet 3 times and in all 3 of them them the retention system that tightens around your head is defective and doesn't lock in place. Any slight pressure and the helmet loosens up. For the price point it is unacceptable

Besides the product that I loved so much, the cost, the buying and shipping experience with the seller and Amazon were awesome.

Great helmet, looks like good quality. But the sizing is too narrow. If you don’t have an oval or narrow head either size up or find a different helmet.

I purchased this helmet directly from the Sweet Protection website. I wore the helmet once and the cushions on the inside began to fall off. I contacted support and was told that “I could glue vel tabs into my brand new helmet.” My last helmet from a different brand lasted ten years. I told them that I would like to return it and was told that the company doesn't accept returns. Buyer beware. This company provides a poor quality product and even worse service. I’m going to go back to using a real named brand helmet.
