This jug is what I needed but sadly I didnt read the description properly as it only holds 500ml, which isnt big enough for my whole carton of milk to go into. I'll keep it though as it's nice to make fruit tea in and pop into the fridge.

Perfect to decant milk for the kids(5 &7) to pour on their own. Not sure how long it will last as feels quite fragile plastic. I'm happy with the product so far.

I already have this exact jug, but made of glass, and I wanted a second one, to use when the other is in the dishwasher. But they were only available in pairs, and I don't have the cupboard space. But then I found this replica, made from acrylic. Aesthetically, I prefer glass, but this is lighter weight than glass, which is good, and it is as clear as my glass one. But in the description, it doesn't mention if it's BPA free. All it says is: "not a single impurity". Which isn't explicit enough.However, it's the perfect size for keeping part of my 1/2 gallon of milk; it's much easier to pick up and pour each time. The lid securely presses into place, and has a spout. When not in use, you can turn the spout around, so the jug is completely sealed. And it has a good ergonomic handle. So I consider it the perfect milk jug, but I must have faith that the polycarbonate is as pure as they say.It was inexpensive, so I'll try it in the dishwasher, even though they don't give any washing instructions.

This works very well with what it is used for, but it is a lot smaller than I would have once thought. It is just about a small quart size or something when I thought it was a normal-sized one. It is a clever design though, it has a nice lid, and it pours well, but due to its size, I will have to meditate on what it can be used for.
