not too soft and not difficult to carve.
I looked around for a while for the right linoleum at a cheap price. Could not be happier and I'll get a lot of stamps for the large 12/18 I received!

This was a gift for my granddaughter for her college art class. Her teacher specified this item.

good enough
To new user. Warm the block up with a blowdryer. It will be tough otherwise to cut with out sharp blades. Also photo is very decieving cause i dont ever read the titles. This is one block only.

Brittle
Hard to carve, super brittle and falls apart.I would take a hard pass if you’re looking for something that’s going to last.

Soft, smooth, and easy to carve on
I love this product! It is smooth and easy to carve. The people that say is grainy may have a knife that is not sharp enough. I have made over 20 prints with this Lino and love it.When it’s cold it hardens. It helps to warm it up with a hair dryer to make it smoother to carve on.

Dry
I was a little disappointed that it isn’t fresh. It’s dry and crumbly. I was afraid it would be. Having a hard time sourcing fresh linoleum in Ontario Canada unfortunately. Will not be buying again.
