Do not buy this product. I read some bad reviews, and decided to try it out for myself. First off, there are no whole pieces of urchin, instead it is some soupy mess of bits. There is zero urchin flavor, this taste more like a can of cheap smoked oysters, but crushed up into little bits floating in a brine. All good though, I knew it was gonna be 50/50. Save your money.

Seafood is my favorite and uni is one of my most favorite. This is a good portion per can, although it’s not aesthetically pleasing it does the job. Topped on some rice and it’s perfect. It’s not as creamy as I’d have hoped but tastes just fine. I drained it and patted it dry.

As you open the can you can see the contents are small broken pieces of ssea urchin pieces all broken into small pieces and crumbs the majority of them submerge in a cloudy liquid. All tasteless. The flavor of sea urchin is unrecognizable. Amazon should not be selling this product. I don’t intent to reorder at all. It was disappointing.

GEOMAR Sea Urchin in Brine taste great and I will reorder Moore in my five pack runs out, which will be soon. We should purchase as much as you can cause I will be buying it all. The taste and quality are great.

This had more brine than actual sea urchin. There was barely a tablespoon of product for me to enjoy.

More liquid than urchin. About 70% liquid and 30% urchin. Not very flavorful.

Fresh is always better
