Punk: Chaos to Couture (Metropolitan Museum of Art) (Fashion Studies)

I purchased this book to support research I was collating for an essay on subcultures, and their fashion and identity, with main focus on Punk. A fantastically informative and photographic book, sharing good insight from the original guys who formed the initial identity via dress and the music, to now where it is portrayed time and time again within high end fashion and couture. In a favoured word of Johnny Rotten to describe their overall look, stunning!

This book is very interesting and really useful, great photographs and designers used... However the cover of the book was damaged when delivered which was a bit disappointing

Loved this book for the pics of (now old) punks tearing up the fashion rule book in their youth, particularly Rotten/McLaren/Westwood
