Accidentally ordered SAS drives instead of SATA, so I bought this adaptor so I could use the drives anyway, unfortunately my PC does not recognise the drives when plugged in to the adaptor.

this says its a sas to sata raid extension cable but it does not work for powering on a sas drive there is a 4 pin connector inside the sas plug that is missing and that is what powers the sas drive so this cable is just a sata to sata extension cable it will not run sas drives
