I have had this clever gadget for ONE DAY and I LOVE IT! With salads a major part of our cuisine, I'm forever looking for something to make chopping vegetables easier -- have tried every imaginable device, but this one is IT. My search is over. It goes together in a minute, is arranged so you can make your slices as thin or as thick as you like, and PRESTO -- with a good, long chef knife or something of equal length (important), you'll have a salad in a minute. One caveat, for me, anyway: tomatoes will make your salad pretty wet, so you might want to slice them separately and then toss in; also, be sure to dry your lettuce between paper towels before adding to the container (which you probably do anyway). I stored my new best gadget in the box it came in, so easy!P.S. I also received a nice email from the seller who was concerned about possible damage in shipment, asking me to let them know if mine had been so affected (it had not). The email also included a "do-in-yourself" e-book on making household items (laundry detergents, cleaning supplies, etc.) , which I thought was pretty classy. Good customer service in addition to a fine product. You won't be sorry if you purchase this excellent salad chopper!

This salad bowl, really works well and saves a lot of time having to cut vegetables separately. Easy to use Easy to clean. I like that at stores flat. It will get cut marks on it but it won't cut through and is more adorable than the similar bowls look. Be aware that you won't get uniform pieces but that's not important to me.

I liked the size of the chopped salad from it. But, the lettuce was so wet even though I had spun it dry before hand. I tried it a bit larger chop (I sawed gently with pressure) between every other slat and still too wet. I couldn't fix it so I sent it back with no problem. Smart idea but wet.

So I totally love the idea and it did work, however my knife slit part of the plastic. I thought, okay, well I'll just skip that slot, and it happened again. Super cool concept but I think one make of stainless steel would be more optimal for this kind of chopping.

I am a big salad eater so when I saw the Kanzzy salad cutter bowl I was impressed by it. So I thought what the heck. When it came in two days the box was in perfect condition. It was easy to assemble. It is a wonderful product. I was able to make a huge amount of salad in about 10 minutes. Because it comes apart so easy, clean up and storage is great. It is a little difficult to use, if I had seen it up close before I bought it, I probably would not buy it.In all fairness, it is well constructed. But there are lots of gizmos like it on the market.

I do not know why...but ever since we started to use this, our salads taste better. I think it is because you can control how big or small your pieces are in your salad. I love how I toss everything together and it takes a minute to make. I love how the bottom piece has grooves in it so you can slice all the way through the bottom layer. I love how I can store it flat and not have to make room for yet another kitchen gadget. My only wish is that the slats were totally open from the top so I could slice easier and fit more things in my container.

I questioned buying this product if it actually worked. To my surprise it did! It is such a time saver, just stick your ingredients in and start slicing. How easy it is and what a time saver for me. I really don't have time to individually slice things, due to having 3 little kids running around. So this Salad Cutter Bowl is perfect for my needs. And it is super fast! I put lettuce, cucumber and tomatoes in the cutter bowl, and my salad came out perfect in half the time! It is also dishwasher safe! The plastic isn't flimsy at all and it seems to be sturdy. I tried to shoot photos for you to see (was eating fruits). There is also instructions come with the package on how to use it. I would recommend this product to anyone.
