Best Portable Radio
I bought 4 of these, and honestly, I cannot imagine a single reason why Sony would stop making these. I love the black finish, including the glossy plastic. The absence of DSP is great. Sound is clear and tunes smoothly unlike DSP radios or the P27. Reception is great with the telescoping antenna. The only thing wrong is that it says "A+ cosmetic condition" and "like new", but all of them have been scratched up. The pictures I included were taken after I used a fine scratch remover for plastics.

A great radio!
I bought this second radio for my grandson to listen to when the power goes out during storms which does happen a lot here in Milford, Ohio. He's Autistic and he loves his tablet and Blu-rays. This is my second purchase of this radio. I have had my first Sony radio for about seven years and it is still going strong. I love my Sony products and a great majority of my entertainment products are Sony. My daughter has my second Sony TV purchase and it's still going strong and it's about 14 years old.

High Quality from Sony
I bought mine several years ago and have found it to be an excellent radio. The sound is pretty good for its size. The base is wide enough for it to stand up. It is solidly built; obvious high-quality. Reception is pretty good too. Battery life is also very good.

Nice Radio but Way, Way Overpriced
It's a nice little radio. It's not $151.00 nice, however. $151.00 is a ridiculous price for this radio. I paid $16.95 for mine on Amazon in 2019. I like the idea of sticking this radio in my front shirt pocket and listen to my program while lounging. Will also serve as a decent emergency information radio. Everyone should own at least 2 portable AM/FM radios.
