Insanely good chili crunch
This chengdu crunch is dangerous. It goes with everything just about and it’s delicious. It’s not as spicy as the original sichuan but the crunch is crazy good. Just about to buy more.

Delicious and stays crunchy!
Oh man. I started buying this and the other version (red label, regular chili crunch) after seeing a recipe online that called for it. This stuff is so good, I literally eat it every day. I especially enjoy the bigger crunchy pieces in this version, but it doesn’t last as long as the red label, and also the flavor of this one is a bit more mellow. Super delicious! If you haven’t tried it, definitely give it a shot. I just wish it wasn’t so expensive.

Tasty noodle topper
This stuff is so good . I've started eating a lot of noodles lately and this incorporated in them with cilantro and some good broth makes a really good meal .

Spicy, crunchy and disappointing
I can't bring myself to give it a lower rating than three, because it is spicy and sort of crunchy, but the description of its flavor did not seem to jive with what was delivered. Mind you, it wasn't horrible, just disappointing.

Shockingly good
This is day one and I am already halfway through the jar. For breakfast I put it atop avocado toast. Exceptional! Perfect spice and crunchy texture. For lunch I stirred it into egg salad elevating an otherwise boring sandwich. I added it to a bowl of chilled pineapple chunks and WOW, mama mia, a pairing made in heaven! Tomorrow I am likely to finish the darn jar. Sliced bananas and Greek yogurt with a healthy scoop of this stuff and maybe a drizzle of honey; a bison burger patty with a spread made of mayo, Dijon mustard and this fab crunch. By then I’ll probably only have a teaspoon left to put on a cracker with peanut butter.

Great for Dan Dan noodles!!
This is SPICY! Like, Dan Dan noodle, slight numbing sensation spicy! I use this to make Dan Dan noodles at home.

Avoid
I love a good chile crisp. This is not one. the flavor is on the bland side and the crunchy soy beans really distract from the flavor and add crunch no flavor. I used once and tossed. Would not recommend.
