I remember years ago climbing into a gigantic Texas pickup truck with a gentleman who was the epitome of the well dressed Texas sort of cowboy. Of course the only cow this man saw was between two pieces of bread, but he was a Texan and he had a big, large, beautiful...hat. And he had a special rack built that allowed him to slide that hat into the roof between the two seats, to keep it safe. I never forgot how cool that whole thing was, because that hat was safer then us belted in between airbags.Now jump ahead a couple of decades, and I have taken to wearing Stetson Open Road hats - they are comfortable, they keep the cancer causer off my face and they were worn by Presidents - Republican and Democrat, so I know they're a good hat. But many Stetsons, and mine is one, are meant to hold their form year after year. They're made out of straw, (at least some are, including mine) and if they're crushed... well so is the wearer - it's very personal. So when you get in the car or truck, you take off the hat, and then what? I used to put mine (always upside down) on the back seat, but often I would hear it slide to the floor, and then I would worry about something else sliding on top of it - see the issue here? If you do, you need one of these.This very simple but effective device will give you an instantly perfect place to hang your hat - so to speak. It has a suction cup attached to a piece of Hemp rope that will attach to your windshield or any smooth surface, and then you loop the rope around the hat crown. I stuck it on the window of the passenger door behind me and it worked great, and then on the windshield - it is just the best. And the hat is protected and instantly available when you get to your destination. And for the price, this is a bargain and a half. Any respectable Stetson hat will cost at least $100 or more, and people will leave them to their children in their will - it's a big deal, and so we need to take care of our hats - and this device does that perfectly. I am thrilled to find this, and if you have one of those ridiculously priced but beautiful hats, you need one of these - or more, if you have more than one hat - and I do... sooo...time for another already,This is a great simple effective way to care for your hats, and I recommend it.
