Glad they sent some extra tape, your going to need it. I installed them last week on a warm day and they are still in place. I used a 50/50 wash of water and alcohol on the area I wanted to install them. If you use the extra tape make sure you mark where you want them, once they are down they are very hard to adjust. Good looking product - Wish the rear ones were a few inches longer, I think they would look better. Otherwise I'm really satisfied.

These look so much better than the vast expanse of paint at the door sill (ASIN B01E6EHE9A also in picture) and three font matches the emblems on the outside of the vehicle. It took some time to remove all the protection film, but that was a minor nuisance. I also warmed the adhesive tape with a heat gun before installation since some reviewers complained of the plates coming off over time.

Not exactly what I wanted but looks ok. I would rather have installed on the black pannels.

A few instructions about where to align the plate would have been appreciated. I also purchased some extra double-sided 3-M tape to help secure the plate to the door sill. The extra tape eliminated the void between the two narrow strips of tape that comes with the plate.. It also prevents the center of the plate from denting when someone or something pushes down on it.

Looks great on my equinox and it’s what it’s supposed to be . Worth the money .

Liked the quality and precision of the cut and pattern. Would have liked for them to be slightly larger but they did the trick for protecting a heavily scuffed door sill that I had just repainted.
