Perfect for my needs . . .
I make a lot of toy cars and trucks and I use nylon washers as the friction reducer between the wheels and the car body. I can't always find them at Lowes or HD so I've started making my own from the tops of margarine containers or other carry out containers made of slippery plastic. This punch is perfect since the normal washer I use is either 3/4" or 1" OD with either a 3/8" or 1/2" center punch for the axle. I have the 3/4" size of this punch and decided to also add the 1" to my collection. It's perfect. I use a wood mallet or a dead blow to strike the punch. It cuts clean and easily through the plastic tub tops. Definitely worth the money.

Works well.
I used it to cut circles in silicone gel cling window stickers. I just pushed down and twisted it a bit. Worked well. It did come with a nick on the blade.

Great punch cutter for making linen patches
The media could not be loaded. It arrives fairly dull so be prepared to sharpen it if you are cutting fabric. It seems to cut through multiple layers (8 layers folded) better than one layer, backed with a solid piece of wood. Seems solid enough if you do not beat it with a metal hammer. I used a dead fall mallet and it worked fine. The welds are not the best quality but they will suffice if care is taken when using the punch. Pretty sure you could also use this with an arbor press to pressure cut materials.

Theres a right and wrong way to use these
First of all the likes:-Nice price-Strong enough metal-Bladed circle on mine was perfect from the company-Nice sizeNow the dislikes:-Welding job left much to be desired-It was not packaged well so the delivery guy dropped it over the fence and it landed on the blade dinging it-The inside of the blade was not machined so it took away from the sharpnessProblems and solutions from past ratings:1. The ratings showing the tool smashed in or busted made me truly wonder about the credibility of this product. However, knowing the welding wasnt ideal I opted for a one pound rubber mallet tool and used a 2x4 piece of wood cut in two short pieces then an art cutting pad on top. I was able to cut the kind of black foam thats closer to a wet suit and about 6 mm thick with ease and one center tap to dig in, 4 taps slightly angled in the four directions followed by one centered to finish and was able to cut 40 in 7.5 minutes. **Notice: I used a Dremel sanding stone to file the inside to make it clean and sharper. The trick is to stabilize the Dremel hand by putting the forearm on a table or something and keeping stiff a the correct angle pointing down the center of the cutting hole and do the same with your left holding this tool and go in a circle spinning the blade as it gently is bushed by the sander like youre sweeping the surface away because its easy to grind at second out of two setting on the basic Dremel. Dont let the Dremel take any of the perfect blade circle out. ***WEAR SAFETY GLASSES so you can look closely and not have sparks or metal shot in your eye. If this gets enough upvotes Ill add pictures. Conclusion:With the right use and possibly cleaning up this thing is great and I am very happy I ordered it and may even get another one as backup for my clumsy tendencies (I may drop it on my garage floor and ruin the blade or something)

Cuts a perfectly round hole...
I used it to cut one-inch holes in 2" x 2" pieces of silicone sheet (1/8" thick) to make leak-proof gaskets for the transfer valves used in homebrew beermaking. Sharp! The punch goes right through the stuff...
