It's smooth and lovely, needs no sweetening, tastes wonderful on its own, with a hint of sweetness from the brown rice. This is a wonderful, invigorating tea, extremely smooth and delicious.I highly recommend this wonderful tea to any tea lover! Unusual, interesting taste
Ordered out of curiosity not expecting much since this is a rather inexpensive bagged tea. Surprisingly, it tastes good. It brews as green tea, although slightly "milky". Roasted brown rice adds nice smokey aroma, but does not affect taste much. I think rice is also responsible for the very subtle sweet aftertaste. Overall, interesting green tea. Bag content is small tea particles and slightly large roasted rice particles, but not powder, and it does not leave dust on the bottom of the cup once brewed.Keep in mind that is it still a bottom-shelf value product that comes in paper bags, but it is incomparably better that a well known brand of green tea that comes in very similar yellow packets.

Tastes wonderful.
This is so far one of my favorite green teas. I especially love the added brown rice which you can smell and taste. It really is an amazing deal considering how much you get. I wasn't sure I'd enjoy these, but I do and it is a nice change from my regular green tea. These are Korean made and I especially love that each tea bag is individually in it's own packet to keep it fresh. This is something I will continue to order and enjoy. Excellent quality.

Mild flavor
Brown rice tea bags smell delicious. However, it’s taste is too weak. Was hoping it tastes as strong as it smells. It’s not like loose leaf teas which have stronger flavor. The tea bags taste are watered down in flavor. I would prefer tea bags with loose leaf teas as I find that variety does taste better in my opinion.

Makes a tasty, satisfying, and comforting tea
In olden days, poor folks had to cut their green tea with rice because tea was too expensive, but nowadays, almost everyone in S. Korea and Japan enjoys green tea blended with some form of brown rice. It turns out the brown rice adds an almost nutty and complementary taste to green tea. For those who have not had the pleasure, it is meant to be a mild tea. I set my kettle at 175F, and typically steep for 2-3 mins. You can steep a little longer for a stronger taste. If you use boiling water, more bitter notes are extracted.I've now served this to several friends and family. We all find it to be a comforting tea.

Roasted brown rice
I love roasted teas. This one is a bit stronger on the brown rice flavor that slightly overpowers the green tea but I may have just steeped it for too long. Comes in individual wrapped tea bags so great for travel or taking to the office.

Incredible taste-- light and slightly smoky
I'm a huge fan of genmaicha-- it is probably my favorite kind of tea. This tea from Nokchawon tasted amazing and I think I am converting to this brand from now on. The tea bags are all individually portioned so you can take them on the go with you. The tea tastes so good and has the most delicious toasted rice aroma. If you enjoy a light, clean green tea with a nutty aftertaste, I highly recommend the genmaicha from Nokchawon.

Fragrant brown rice green tea
This brown rice green tea is very fragrant and tasty. The instructions on the box are in Korean and state to steep the tea bag in one cup of 80 degree Celsius water for 1 minute, or longer for a stronger flavor. I used about half a mug of water and it turned out well.
