The build quality and material seems good. It has lots of extras like additional paddings and rail & NV attachments. It is very adjustable, but one concern is that it fit me snuggly. I have an average size head and I can see it to be small for any larger head sizes. It has a decent sturdiness to protect you from bumps and falls. Besides being on the small side, it is a solid buy.

Honestly....great product for the price. Actually awesome! Very comfortable.Love the fit...comes with thicker pads if needed and some rail accessories....one of which I have no idea what it does. Ha Ha Velcro pads are solidily attached and chin strap is quality as well. HIGHLY recommend.IMPORTANT: When you buy the NGV Rhino mount and J arm make sure they are both DOVETAIL compatible. DOVETAIL is more sturdy than the "bayonet" connection. Many J arms on Amazon do not mention "dovetail" in the description, so read closely.

It’s a plastic helmet (bump). presentation of the helmet itself does not feel cheap and looks well-made however I would recommend changing out the NVG shroud depending on your mount. (more on that later). a knock off on the OPS core fast bump carbon helmets. I bought two of them for my buddy and his dad for Christmas. Both are avid NVG users, but use the classic skull crusher head mounts. so I decided to pick them up a set of bump helmets to mount their devices to. (They liked these helmets) This helmet is very lightweight and surprisingly comfortable with arc rail and NVG shroud remaining in the correct standard size for all of your mounts. I tested a Loso PVS 31B mount, a military surplus rhino mount, and a Wilcox G 24 mount all fit with no wiggle. However, the reason this helmet is not listed at five stars is the NVG shroud, when using the rhino arm would flex upon manipulation. (moving the mount from the low stow into the High stow position.) these helmets are great for flat range training and general night vision applications. Not sure if the helmet offers much impact protection due to how thin it is (i’m talking about using the helmet for vehicle application, or just falling because you’re clumsy) but hey, if you wanna use it for that, whatever. Bump helmets are a great training tool in place of a ballistic helmet. (for training only, not real world application. Get yourself a ballistic helmet for that jazz)

I’ve used a few other cheap amazon helmets for airsoft but this one easily beats them all. It’s honestly the most comfortable helmet I have due to the thick high quality padding (it even comes with extra configurations of pads). The chin strap is somewhat easy to adjust but easy to use once you get the hang of it. It also stays on your head really well especially while running around. I would say it would protect you from most bumps but nothing ballistic, that’s not what it’s meant for. Overall 10/10 for functionality. The metal NVG mount is also a nice touch and it’s really sturdy.

Does basically want I wanted it to do. Just be a bump helmet for my night vision and basic head protection. The rails are out of spec, can’t mount any arc rail accessories at all. Have an extra set I’ll replace them with. Pretty nice for the money and the retention and pads are pretty decent. I like it. Feels a bit flimsy, just basically a glorified skateboard helmet. Exactly what I needed

I got this budget helmet as a host to hold my nods until I get something name brand. It’s comfy & light. G24 mount fits very nice and sturdy . Only flaw was the NVG shroud was loose upon arrival but you simply just tighten the screws from behind. It’s a great choice for airsoft or to hold night vision. I still recommend using a secondary nvg bungee system in case the shroud/ mount fails.
