Water Pump Kit w/Housing Johnson/Evinrude 90-300hp V4V6 75/90 E-tec 3cyl No Weep Hole

Am glad i took the time to order this kit. It had everything i needed to replace the whole unit in the foot of my engine and was a perfect fit.Package arrived on time and properly packaged.

Kit Is great except for yellow threadlock on bolts is too hard and thick. Everything worked like a charm until I tried installing the new bolts had to remove a bit of yellow threadlock to get bolt started got about half way down when it got super tight. Thought I'd back it out and run it in again after checking threads. All clear tried again the same, gave it a little more force and cracked the threaded cast aluminum post of the lower unit. On my etec lower. Now my working engine is ooc until I find solution. Was going to use torque wrench after snugging bolts down. Arrrrggghhhh. So use old bolts or remove all yellow threadlock and go with blue loctite.
