Loosen up and remove existing quick release bolts and popped these straight on, all good.I wiped on a little grease before fitting, nice quality.

It is a bit too short for my bike (about 1 cm longer would be better). Looks nice and is way harder to remove than standard quick release, but absolutely not thieft-proof by construction: 6-point 2.5 bit (or small screwdriver) fits good enough to unscrew it. Hope it will be good enough to prevent accidental wheel dissapearance :)

Very happy with these, seem strong, no squeaks which is the reason I got these (and for security) I haven't seen the key cavity on any other skewers, which is extra peace of mind. They are a little pricier than some others on here but the question is how much do you value your wheels? Easy installation and look the part . Recommended.

Bought this to stop a thief more easily getting my wheels as they were quick release.One watch out - if your seat post is also quick release you can by these kits with a 3rd smaller bit for the seat post.Worked perfectly and looks good.

Awesome wheel bolts. Very light and easy to attach to my bike. Looks great, my only concern is they feel too light and it worries me that they may not be as robust as I expect. So far so good though.

This gives me a little piece of mind when I lock my cycle outside. Countless thefts around my area and I have put money and effort into my bike so having it taken is my biggest fear. I had previously had quick release wheels on my bike which were handy but I never take my bike in a car so not really relevant to me however this makes them easy to take. I replaced the quick release lock with these and it's as easy as unscrewing it and putting in these. You don't even need to take the wheel off so it literally took me 5 minutes.The tool fits well inside the nut and can be turned to a decent force. Things don't have to be too tight on the wheels but I recommend that you tighten it well to prevent it being undone by unscrewing the other side. My fear now is losing the tool! but that will be stored safely in my tool box.

This set of wheel skewers are very nice looking and have a clever mechanism.It is not thief- proof in that with some tools you can open it, but it is a good deterrent for the usual bike thieves that just go around with a chain cutter or take wheels off by just unclipping the quick release clamps.I had seen similar skewers before, they have a particular shape that is not standard Allen key (the correct one is included in the kit).But these ones in particular have an extra feature, a pin in the centre that fits in a hole in the key so standard solid ones won't be able to twist it either.Very happy with this.

Bought this many months ago, and they have worked so far... I haven't got my bike wheels stolen again. Recently bought another set for another bike.
