Perfect fit on my Dewalt DCN45RN
This vinyl siding adapter fit perfectly on my Dewalt DCN45RN. Good value as it come in at about half the price of the OEM part. The adapter is made of plastic but feels durable. Makes it easy to shoot nail into vinyl siding in the correct spot and depth.

Procedure to install
Bought this a while ago. Have been looking all over for how-to procedure. Even tried to remove the nail depth dial to no avail. One hint found was to remove the spring. I uploaded some pictures to illustrate that. The ad show it is 3D printed crap. The one received was injection molded plastic. The procedure to change tip by removing the spring is not too bad but not too easy either. Make sure to turn dial to reduce spring compression. Use a flat screw driver. Catch the spring when it pops out, save the original roofing nail tip somewhere and don’t lose it between changing application.I have not use it extensively yet. Shoot three nails, it works.Updates: after 30 nails, it broke.

Junk plastic
Few nails into second coil end of tip broke off. Continued to use it until back broke off about 2 coils of nails later. This was on brand new dewalt nailer.
