I have purchased these a number of times now and apart from the fact that NO ONE has been on the phone offering me a repeat order discount ;-) I have absolutely nothing but positive comments and experience with this product. From order to receipt, seamless. For 100 pieces, your paying a fair amount more at the trade counter and usually when buying 100 you have a marginal percentage that will fail or are just knackered, it's an unwritten expectation that a couple would have been produced at 1 o'clock on a friday just before knocking off time and the quality inspector was in the bog. Not these, ZERO failure so far outta about 700. hugely impressed and happy. BUY THEM, I INSIST ......

One of the other reviewers gave me the clue I needed to make these work properly. Pulling through the individual wires certainly helps (especially with my old eyes) determine whether you got it right, and so whether it's worth crimping. I don't buy the wastage argument: to make it work I needed a couple of inches of each cable, so I could thread them through one at a time. Anyway, the important advice is: once through, push the whole cable as far in as you can, so you have a bit of cable sleeve spare inside the connector; then, as advised in another review here, cut off the cable ends outside the connector, as close as you can to the plastic housing. Then pull the cable back until the ends of the wires are flush with the plastic. Assuming you still have cable sheathing available for the crimp, THEN crimp it.I managed a cat 6 but I guess it was not with the thick core others have mentioned. Cat 5e was the same - terribly fiddly until I read the advice above. Then it worked. I assume the person who invented these connectors either had very small and dextrous hands, or was a sadist, or both.

Great product. Make sure you have a pass-through crump tool which cuts the wires flush with the end of the plug.

Just done a huge house renovation and filled the place with cat 7 cabling, then I realised that getting ends for these cables was going to be very difficult or very very expensive.Having tried a few products I eventually tried these ends and I'm so pleased I did, I'd been tearing my hair out.Inner cables fit snuggly in the end which holds them in place and makes the whole thing easier to wire, I'd definitely buy them again if I needed more.If you need wall sockets for cat 7 then look at the cat 6 ones from cable monkey, they work very well.Hopefully this helps?

Excellent product, well worth the price paid, best thing about these connectors is allowing for wires to pass through to open end of connector to check coloured Leads are in correct position before trimming back and then crimping once happy. I made my own RG45 cat 6 leads for CCTV project.

Did exactly what I needed it to do. Only Advice: use a good crimper.

Don't waste your time arranging the edges and finish quickly and with good quality.

So far these have worked perfect no issues. I like that its pass through, easy crimping and nice to have the strain relief with them.
