Good value for the price
Functionally, this shoe rack is excellent for its price point. It holds four pairs of men-sized sneakers per rack. With nine-usable racks, that works out to 36 pairs of sneakers. I suppose you can put another four pairs on the very top of the unit to equate to 40 pairs of shoes. With kids shoes, I'm able to squeeze in five pairs per rack so if you're using this for kids shoes, you can get 45 pairs of shoes within the inner racks -- and 50 if you include the very top of the unit.Putting it together took 35 minutes but during that time, my dogs were interacting with me and some of that time was spent petting the dogs. Assembly was a matter of threading metal rods into a black canvas-like material, then pushing the rods into plastic connectors. This is repeated again nine more times to build out the individual racks. Then four shorter metal rods per rack are used to interconnect the racks. I call them racks instead of shelves because the canvas material is relatively thin but seems strong enough to support the four-five pairs of shoes per rack it was designed to hold. The metal rods are also made of a fairly thin gauge sheet metal -- but again, fine for holding shoes on the racks but not strong enough to hold heavier items -- which is not what this was made for anyways.Once fully assembled, the standing unit seems fairly sturdy -- not a lot of flexing back and forth as you would expect from an all-plastic shoe rack (again, the rods are all metal with plastic connectors between). The cover that goes around the unit does help give it a finished look. It's made of a thinner material than that canvas-like material used to hold the shoes. The material reminds me of those cheap, thin reusable shopping bags that are water-permeable. But it's only meant to keep out dust so it looks like it will serve that purpose. On the bottom-front are two built-in ties that allow you to tie the cover to the bottom legs of the shoe rack. I do wish there were a few more of these built in ties going up the cover to so that the frame that the cover creates around the shoe rack didn't look so floppy and untidy but I'll probably use tie wraps or something if it bothers me enough.Overall, I would definitely recommend this shoe rack for the value pricing.

For what it is - its a great solution!
this is a FABRIC COVER over aluminum poles. You have to assemble - all tools provided but helpful hint - when assembling, insert the shorter side poles before attaching the longer pieces that are inserted into your fabric shelf piece - it goes quicker and smoother that way! Instructions are confusing... but once you see the pieces its straightforward. Took less than a half hour by myself. A little disappointed that the "shelf" is just a piece of linin paper - not even cardboard thickness so am giving 4 stars for that but should still be sturdy enough to support your shoes. It is lightweight easy to move if needed and the grey is a nice color! Looks good in my garage!

Exactly what I needed
Perfect shoe rack. I have it on my three season porch. It is very sturdy, and easy to build, but the little wooden hammer that coms with is broke about two minutes in to the build. A rubber mallet might be easier to use. The cover is very easy to put on, but I wish the toes at the bottom were a little higher up. They are very close to the bottom and make it hard to tie.

Discrete organization in on product
This rack is so great as you can see I both two in a matter of days . And also buying a third one . As a sneaker fanatic this was the perfect organization for me . It’s sturdy and versatile. And when you covet it , you can’t tell what it is . Looks great, was a good price and was exactly what I needed.

Jut what I’m looking for
I bought this rack because I was needing space for my kids shoes. This is my third purchase for shoe rack and so far is the best one. It is sturdy easy to assemble and if it’s all their shoes with space to add more.

Not sturdy on carpet
This product started out great. However, after about a month, it began to lean forward on the carpet, so I had to place a wedge under one side of the front to stabilize it.

Shoe rack is great for sneakers and low shoes
Just be careful with zipper when pulling as one side broke but I literally go into the rack 3-4 times daily from gym to work to gym needs. It’s not tall enough for boots though. Even mid. Height work boots are a little tight.
