Excellent value

Troughs were delivered very promptly & well packaged. They are very sturdy & have a drip tray included so ticks the box for not over watering. They were just what I was looking for & although not the cheapest were far better than others I looked at. The troughs also have a restraining clip - just a little niggle but I can’t get both sides to stay in place - don’t let this put you off, as it’s a very minor issue. Recommend both the troughs & the seller

These don't include a reservoir, otherwise a good buy.

These are better than I was expecting for the price. They have a water reservoir at the bottom, which is a real bonus for summer use. They are sturdy and have thin bars you can put in the middle to hold the front and back together to prevent the boxes bulging outwards.

BEWARE! The 4.4 stars out of 5 is misleading. I made the mistake of not looking into the lower rated reviews before purchase. Had I looked at them, I would not have placed the order. The plastic is not robust, it is too thin and brittle - 2 of the 4 troughs were received damaged (1 had a split in base, another had a broken top corner) although the packaging was intact. There are too many reviews of damaged troughs for it all to be the fault of the delivery people! Clearly these troughs are not fit for purpose and should be manufactured from thicker plastic. The reviews showing damage cover at least a couple of years, so the manufacturer's have not learnt from them and modified their product! The manufacturers should make the product strong enough to cope with normal anticipated handling, or compression if they have been stacked on top of each other! At least put 'Fragile' tape on them! It is ridiculous to make the plastic too thin, and then attempt to compensate by supplying a plastic rod to fit across the top middle to prevent the sides from bulging in use! Apart from this support rod being visible, it doesn't fit in the holes provided (as other reviewers have found)! Fortunately, we wanted 3 of the troughs to fit inside the top of a low wall (hollow at the top), so the damage will be barely visible. I may ask for a partial refund, as I believe to return the troughs may involve paying postage? The manufacturers get away with continuing to sell a substandard product, because they know returning the items will cause hassle for the customer, so not enough people will do it, including me!
