I'm learning to sight-sing and have wanted to step away from technology while doing my practice to avoid distractions. I used to use either a tone app on my phone or my digital piano, but I really like having this all "analog" pitch-pipe where I can find the tonic note, get that in my head, and sing from there. Love that it comes with a nice little zipper pouch so I can put it in my pocket on the go, great for practicing anywhere! And a cool trick I learned from a vocal coach - you can sing a tone into it and the reeds will vibrate in accordance with your tuning, so the more in tune you are, the less vibration. Very cool way to immediately check your intonation, but also you can check other intervals against it like 3rds and 5ths. It's old school but I love it for my ear training routine!

Love this Lee Oskar pitch pipe, it is great for tuning my guitar. I keep one in my case, and it takes up very little space. It's compact and has a quality tone and look. I really like the fact that it has the Low E and High E notes right next to each other, with the full scale of course. Awesome!
