Astro Pneumatic - 11Pc 1/2" Drive Low Profile Nano Impact Sockets - SAE (model: 78211)

These are very nice socket sets, perfect. HOWEVER, they are not any more low profile than your regular Craftsman or other brand, socket set currently in your toolbox.THE ONLY REASON I’M KEEPING is because they allow me to get a wrench around the end of the socket due to the shape. Otherwise o would return. If you’re looking for low profile sockets, look elsewhere.Kicker: According to the picture above these are actually less “low profile” than the regular Craftsman set. Very unsatisfied.I HAVE SOCKETS, I WANTED AND BELIEVED I PURCHASED LOW PROFILE SOCKETS.NOT LOW PROFILE

Item arrived very quickly. The looks they are made of a good quality material. I mused the 1 inch to remove an oil filter and worked very well. Price was reasonable. A good addition to an existing standard socket sets.

Great product and hard to beat. Works fantastic for low clearance nuts and bolts.

Awesome socket for tight places. Used this to access some bolts that lacked the clearance for a socket wrench head. The ability to use a box wrench on the end of the socket was the only way to access the bolt without pulling the engine

They hold up well size gives extra clearance in tight places

Great for places you can't get a regular socket and ratchet into to remove the bolt.

I included pictures comparing a 1/2” drive Astro nano 1” socket to a Tekton 3/8” drive 1” socket. The Astro is smaller than the 3/8” drive socket which and even smaller than a 1/2” regular socket but not by much... where it really shines is on the 22mm wrench (17mm for the 3/8 nano set) which is super nice. If your a field mechanic like me and you have to go on a roof up a ladder hatch to get to an industrial generator you can put whatever sockets you’ll need on your socket rack (that’s an amazing rack by the way) and throw a 22mm wrench into your pocket, tool ouch or pack pack and they dont take up hardly any room. And they double as pass thru sockets with way. Pretty slick. Amazing coating quality amazing resting rack with pin detente to retain each socket. Clearly labeled. I would highly recommend these sockets to be your regular everyday shallow sockets. Just don’t be sad when you get them as see they aren’t that much smaller than 3/8 sockets...they’re much for useful than you first realize.
