I make a lot of soups, stews and one pot meals. I should have bought a good cast iron dutch oven years ago. This product is great,easy to clean,oven safe and a must have if you do a lot of home cooking. I would certainly recommend it to anyone who enjoys cooking with high quality cookware.

I haven’t had a chance to use it yet, but it looks perfect - no scratches, no chips or any other issues. I’m planning on making a cranberry walnut bread for my husband but that needs to wait a few weeks. If anyone is interested in how the bread turns out, I will try to remember to take a picture and write a follow up.

This Dutch Oven is exactly as described. Heat is distributed equally, food does not stick and I love how it heats in the oven. Cleaning was very easy and left no food residue. I will agree it is heavy but I it's a Dutch Oven an high quality always are. Also, I love the vibrant red color.
