This keeps my new 42oz yeti spill proof perfectly! It’s too cute also! I can drink through the straw just fine as well. But yes, like another review said just be careful when closing the lid because water will squirt out at you. So, I put the flower cap on before pushing down the lid and that solved that problem. I love it and what a great price!

PERFECT for the Yeti Straw Mug. I don't use the little lid gasket seals because it makes my cup whistle and there's no opposing air hole to allow you to sip. HOWEVER, if you want your lid to be waterproof, this kit will do that. It's just easier to sip without the gasket. The lid cap is PERFECT and I wish I'd ordered more (or that a larger quantity was available as an option.

Works great at protecting my Yeti straw! I do not use the protection for the lid its self. It creates to much pressure/suction and makes it hard to drink.

It stops leaks. So it does what it's designed to do.But, I realize I don't like having extra parts to wash and keep track of. Also, over time, the silicone turns yellow.So, if you are buying purely for function, you are in luck. If you don't want aesthetic issues and more parts to worry about, you might want to pass.

The toppers for my Yeti straw is a perfect fit and are so cute! Perfect for the Summer time with all the bugs flying around. Just do it!

The stopper is tricky to put cap and straw in. Liquid comes up through straw!

While the straw hole leak stopper DOES keep leaks from occuring once the lid is in place, that hole serves as an air breather for use of the lid/straw and is necessary for the mug to function as designed. When the lid (with the hole leak stopper in place) is put back on a mug with liquid, the air has no where to be displaced in the cup, so the only available mass exit is through the straw. Which is all well and good but the straw is under the liquid so instead of air coming out the liquid is then pushed out to make room for the air pushed down on it - resulting in a fountain of liquid flying out of the straw until the air displaces enough liquid to balance again (this is if you don't have the top of straw stopper in place - if that's in place you just get a mess everywhere during install). Now, try and drink liquid out the straw - the opposite happens - now there's no air able to fill the space where the liquid once was, so you can't pull out the liquid without breaking the lid seal. Cool idea for this product but needs a redesign to add a breather hole that won't leak for it to actually work as a mug after install. Of course, it is possible I missed a key point in making this work - suggestions welcome. Either way, inexpensive enough to demonstrate a really simple science experiment, so was still a fun investment :)
