This is a very cute item. They do look like they are floating. My daughter is almost 15 and loves them in her bedroom. They go on and off with a remote wand (which is very cute) even my teenager loves it. She said it reminds her of a magical room, like Harry Potter. I have tried several times to get a video, but for some reason cant load it. I will figure it out and make sure I am not missing something. Anyway, I plan on buying more of this item as I liked them too! Each candle runs on 2 double A batteries, which can get expensive. I just bought mine at the dollar store since it is a seasonal item. Very easy to use, wand works great. perfect size!

These candles work endlessly and I've had these batteries in these since Halloween, its now christmas and they're still burning all day long!! Great value for the money. The "remote wand" is cute touch. I didnt float them this halloween but I use them for window candles and they are just beautiful. Fits my taper candle holders, I just used the candle holder wax to place and stabilize. Easy to place batteries no issues with mechanics. The flicker juat adds to the beauty of these simple battery operated LED candles.

These are SO cool I love these so much. Only reason I gave a 4 /5 is because 1. They take 25 double A batteries for the entire thing to work. (1 for the wand, 2 for each candle). You also have to tie the string on to each candle and hanger. 3. If you're only using these for seasonal reasons I would take the sticky stuff off the hangers and replace it with something that is kinder to your ceiling. This literally ripped my pain AND drywall off. But other than those 3 miner things these are really awesome

Absolutely perfect! I used these for a surprise Harry Potter themed birthday party for my nephew and brother in law. It was in July 2025. It’s November 2025 and they are still all hanging on the ceiling. The only thing I would be cautious about is it takes 25 batteries total between all the candles and the wand. I found a large pack of cheap batteries at a local store, but most of the time battery prices are crazy. So, just be aware of that. Other than that, I have no complaints! The wand works flawlessly and really adds a nice touch. They are the size of an average candle stick and look just like the floating candles in the movie! They are really easy to install and the adhesive is really good. I can’t speak to removal because my brother in law still has them all up as I’ve said. If you’re looking for Harry Potter party decor, these are a definite must have!

Used these for a HP decoration at work. Hung em up with fishing string. They are good quality and lasting. I tightened the top just enough where the candle would turn on and they lasted on a whole month. They flicker like a real candle

Sure, it’s fun to fling a wand at floating candles and “lumos” them on… until they start ripping chunks off your ceiling and then the magic is gone. I only recommend these if you want them permanently bonded to your ceiling for the rest of your life. I even tried the WD-40 trick to remove them and had no luck. Maybe it’s because my ceilings are from the 70’s, maybe it’s the industrial-strength sticky patches they provide, but either way the spooky season of magic lights was not worth the time and money I’ll now spend patching what used to be an intact ceiling. Super bummed. Maybe put a layer of painters tape on the ceiling first and then stick the adhesive to that? I dunno — be my guest at risking your perfectly painted ceiling. Side note: to be fair, the lights themselves worked well and responded perfectly in unison to the wand. I suppose they’ll make much better candlesticks on a bookshelf than as “floating” ceiling candles.

Originally bought for a birthday party and my children and friends were impressed with this set. The lights function well. The ease of control from the wand is great. We even used them as the lights for our pumpkins this year and were able to turn them on and off with the wand when desired. The only thing I didn't think about was how many batteries would be required but that is on me not the product. So buy batteries with this set.

Great price, easy to hang, beautiful effect, and love the wand remote.
