Hours of fun!
Brilliant game! I'm so glad I got this, having so much fun with it so far! I love the elements of exploration, the storyline is gripping and delivers all the right emotions to the audience. The fighting was quite new but also heaps of fun for me. The characters also made the journey even more cool.To be honest I wish there were more JRPG's like this out there. FFXV is everything I hoped for in a genre like this,

Better than I thought
The more I’ve played the more I’ve appreciated this one. I came to this late after playing and 100% Final fantasy VII Remake, and I think this one even does a few things that one didn’t do so well. For one, this ran at 60fps on PS5, which helps the combat when it gets busy, especially in where there can he be a lot going on.I liked its open world, which had more to do in it that I’d come to expect, as in quest after quest, hunts, dungeons etc. I liked the side quests more than FF7 Remake for the most part. The story probably makes sense to some, but it didn’t to me, but it wasn't the most important to me.The combat is very different from FF7 Remake, but I even got into this in the end. It’s a little more tactical and deeper than at first appearances if you care to explore it and the sizeable skill tree. The dlc is also decent in my opinion, you have episodes that are character centric, and you get a whole multiplayer thing, which is a whole game in itself. As at writing I’m almost 100% done with everything and can say it’s definitely value for money at its current price. There’s a lot of game here.

Incredible
Do not worry - French on the box but the game is in EnglishI recently finished FF7 remake and was eager for more, so despite this having not the best reviews I decided to give it a shot and I was completely blown away by how good this isI thoroughly enjoyed the 7 remake but one of my gripes was that it didn't really open up even after completion - this however gives you (encourages you even) to fully explore the vast and wonderful open worldI'm not the type of person who likes to rush through games just to complete them and I think if you just rush through the main campaign with this game you will be missing out - it's quite obvious when playing that the developers wanted you to spend hours navigating the enormous setting that they have created and I did not get bored doing soI found the story and world building to be very good - that said the actual plot seems secondary to the main theme of the game, which is the bonds built between the 4 protagonists through the trials and adventures they are on (the ending hits you right in the feels)The combat initiallly seems a little clunky (Probably because I'd just spent months playing through DMC 5 which is very slick) but as you get to grips with it - it becomes a lot easier and smootherOverall - I'd recommend this to anyone who wants to sink a lot of time into a game, I feel it's one of those that you get out what you put in. The original release didn't get high praise as it wasn't complete but the Royal edition is a very rewarding experience - take your time and enjoy it

It’s worth it
I love Final Fantasy XV, and it may even be my favourite one. It’s controversial, but the main cast and music are fantastic.
