Sturdy. Easy to install.
Easy to install. Our granddaughter installed ours. Handy grip for one or two steps up. It helps prevent falls for elderly folk.

Excellent handrail
This is a great handrail, and it's pretty easy to install if you're attaching it on a wood base. Just four or six sturdy screws are needed. Attaching to brick would be more difficult due to having to drill into the brick or mortar. Please note that it is only for two or three steps. The white finish appears to be powder coated, which should make the rail hold up well in the weather if you're using it for outside. Being round, it's very easy to grip. Good value and great rail.

Would get different screws
I would of gave is handrail 5 stars cause it will made. Stable great materials BUT the screws that was in the kit was a joke in my opinion way thin and short. Bought 16" handrail with twice as big screws so we switched them both seem stable and safe now.

Enhances Safety for Stairs for Disabled Person
My husband is disabled and we live in a 3 story house. The VA paid to install a second set of straight wall rails so he could ambulate the steps with assistance. I got two of these so that they could be used between floors where the wall railing was a little out of reach between floors so so he had something additional to grab and they make a huge difference where there otherwise would have been a gap for him to grab something. Thank you!

not a good handrail
i bought this handrail after my aunt nealy fell going up her 2 step porch, the issue i had with this rail was the 2 screws that connect the mounting bracket to the rail. on installation it was very loose and very wobbly. i had to buy another hand rail that was welded to the mounting bracket. if you plan to buy a handrail like this, buy one that is welded to the mounting bracket

Helpful for walking up steps
I am 73 yr old female. My garage steps to the house are very wide. I put one on each side of the garage door. They help steady me when I use the steps. Very sturdy.

Handrail for stairs and steps
When you have a mobility problem, stairs are hard to navigate. We installed this handrail on the 2 stairs into our home from garage. It is very sturdy and the angle is perfect for its location. Has made a much appreciated difference.
