Why are you selling this? it contains everything a hedgehog shouldnt eat?!!

Completely agree with this, PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. this should not be being sold as hedgehog food there is nothing that is good for a hedgehog in this. The ingredients in this will cause metabolic bone disease which is where their bones are stripped of calcium and the poor hedgehogs will die a horrific painful death.

Why are you selling something full of ingredients which are bad for hedgehogs?

As a customer looking for the best food for hedgehogs, I enquired at the local HH rescue centre. They immediately advised to STOP feeding this immediately, contains too much phosphorous, indeed only the sensitive cat biscuits and cat's tinned chicken food. We have a community of contented hoggies coming to the churches each night, filmed on camera to be sure there are ONLY hoggies :)

Does this product contain mealworms?

Please, please, please DO NOT buy this to give to hedgehogs as the ingredients aren’t suitable for them. Mealworms, peanuts and sunflower hearts can cause Metabolic Bone Disease which will kill hedgehogs slowly and painfully. Sugary foods such as dried fruit, dried bananas and honey are also a big no no for hedgehogs as are seeds and foods with a high fat content. The best thing to leave out for hedgehogs is dry hedgehog pellets (make sure there is a shallow dish of fresh water near by) ,tinned hedgehog food or tinned cat food - meat flavour rather than fish. If you have room in your garden create a wood pile as the creepy crawlies this will attract are ideal fresh hedgehog food.

I have found a peice of plastic in the food could you tell me who to write to?

Please do not buy this product, nearly all that ingredients are harmful to hedgehogs.
