Very bright colours! It arrived this afternoon and straight away I had to use it! Made myself a hat but I think I need to buy another ball to make some gloves now as it’s just so nice and soft and bright! The strands split apart quite a bit but it didn’t make a difference to the finished piece.

Ordered quite a lot as I was making a king size bed cover. It was a little expensive but I couldn’t get the yarn elsewhere & was happy to buy from Amazon, reliable source & delivery was excellent. Great to work with, really soft, colours really popped as the blanket got bigger. Added bonus was the yarn could be machine washed & tumble dried. Win win situation.

Lovely yarn beautiful colours. But I found it a bit difficult to use. I made a scarf with it very new to crocheting and one of my first projects. Could be not a good starter yarn would get it again when I am a bit more experienced did really love the colours 🧶🧶🧶

Lovely thick yarn, beautifully soft and works up really quickly. Made a lovely warm hat and scarf that are getting lots of compliments.

This is not your usual yarn, it is very uneven in places and wound very loosely, like virgin wool. But it is strong. Personally i love working with it and it is one of my favourites. Lovely colour blends and very soft, you either love it or hate it. The fibres remain loose.

One ball is enough for a man’s beanie hat. Used knitting needles 4 mm. First my husband chose these colors, then my dad say the hat and wanted one too. Bought another ball and knitted another hat.

The rich colour range of these Landscapes yarns are stunning. However, as has been mentioned in other reviews, the yarn tends to split when using it for knitting. I'm not sure I agree that it is only a problem for beginner knitters. I have a lifetime of knitting experience, working with all kinds of yarns, and this is one of the most challenging. When the yarn divides you have to re-knit the stitch which means the whole project takes longer to complete. Even with vigilance you may not notice it happening, and will see stitches that have split long after you have completed the rows. This can be remedied by pulling the stray piece of yarn through to the wrong side with a crochet hook. Not good for perfectionists!

Edited: You can see my original review below. Because the wool kept pulling apart and I did not want to waste it, I knitted it together with another ball of yarn. The colour was fantastic and the bag I knitted looked great. I ran out of this colour so had to buy another - this ball was much better and did not pull apart. Perhaps I just had a dud first time round.I was really pleased with the colour when it arrived, but I couldn’t even finish casting on - the wool literally pulled apart in my hands. I don’t know if I just got a bad batch, but whatever the reason, it was very frustrating.

I'm four skeins into crocheting my afghan, and seeing NONE of the issues other buyers have mentioned--no 'yarn barf' blobs, clumps or tangles, and the yarn is of a good, consistent, uniform thickness throughout, no 'thick and thin' issues that other reviewers have mentioned. I've had two instances of finding ends mid-skein--as you would with any other yarn--but tying the yarn together to join them is no problem. The yarn is strong with a silky sheen, the dark jewel tone colors deep and saturated. At the start of my afghan I made some changes before I settled on a size/pattern, so I ended up ripping out and restarting my project 4 times--the yarn took it just fine (and I tend to go for speed over gentleness when ripping out!) and stayed strong and intact with no loss to its integrity. I did have to fuss out some spots where it had grabbed onto itself, but that's the price you pay for fuzzy yarn, I just had to go slow and develop a technique to minimize that. So beginners, beware!I bought 20 skeins and all were from the same dye lot. Each skein is individually bagged, a HUGE plus for anyone shopping and worried about getting someone else's partially used skein they returned! The bags also keep the yarn clean and contained until you want to use it.This silky yarn works up beautifully, the color changes keep you from getting tired of a color. I crochet a little on the loose side. The yarn has a loose twist, so you have to be on guard not to put your hook through the yarn instead of the loop. Being so very soft, this yarn is a bit on the fuzzy side and sheds a little--but not enough to be a turn off for me.When I first found this yarn it was a bit pricey, but after about a month I caught it on sale for under $5 a skein.I'll be buying more of this yarn for future projects!

En general me gustó..ya tejido tiene una textura y suavidad muy fina. Para prendas muy invernales es excelente. Colores y matices muy vistosos. Algo elevado el precio pero vale la pena la calidad .

Unglaublich leuchtende Farben, die Wolle fühlt sich sehr weich und schmiegsam an, läßt sich sehr leicht verarbeiten...werde ich sicher nochmal kaufen.
