No rubber smell!
Good quality hot water bottle! The cover is soft but does look quite cheaply made (or maybe I'm too fussy). There is no smell at all of rubber though which tells me it's a good quality product. I did find it quite difficult to screw the knob off after use but again, maybe I'm just too weak!
